JATL is teaming up with the UQ United Nations Student Association to bring you our Introduction to International Affairs and Model UN on Sunday 16th March. Curious to learn more about what the United Nations is and what it does? Eager to sharpen up your advocacy and diplomacy skills? Keen to try your first competition, or a new style? If so, then this is the perfect event for you!

WHO WE ARE 

The Justice and the Law Society (JATL) is a vital organisation within the TC Beirne School of Law, which has recently celebrated its 30th anniversary. An active society with hundreds of members, JATL focusses on exploring the intersection of law and social justice while helping students build their professional networks.

Membership is open to students and professionals, for $5 and $10 respectively. You don’t have to be a law student or lawyer to become a member! The friendly JATL community welcomes everyone interested in social justice and social change.
