Recent statistics indicate that on any given night in Australia, 1 in 200 people are homeless. Homelessness does not discriminate and can affect anyone – from children, single people and families with children, to our elderly population.
Much needs to be done to end and prevent homelessness, including addressing structural and systemic issues within our laws and policy.
Come along on Thursday 3rd of May from 6pm – 8pm to hear our panel of professionals offer their opinions on this significant legal issue. Our panelists include Professor Tamara Walsh, Stephen Grace from the Homeless Persons' Legal Clnic, and Peter Thrupp from the Anti-Poverty Network Queensland.
Pizza and refreshments will be provided!
